Let Us Introduce Ourselves

Dr. Kelly Schwabe, DDS

Dr. Kelly Schwabe simply has a love for dentistry in her DNA. Both of her parents are dentists, her sister and brother-in-law are dentists and… she is married to a dentist! Since the young age of 8, she and her family have participated in annual dental mission trips, providing care for those in need in rural Jamaica. Through mission work, Dr. Schwabe found her favorite part of dentistry—serving others.

Dr. Schwabe graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI with a bachelors in Biomedical Sciences and continued her education at Marquette School of Dentistry to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. She then completed an advanced education residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA where she focused on treating patients who required complex oral rehabilitation. After practicing on the east coast in Virginia and Pennsylvania, Dr. Schwabe is thrilled to return to Naperville where she grew up. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and the Christian Dental Society. Her joy is bringing smiles to her patients’ faces through quality, compassionate care and good communication.  

In her free time, Dr. Schwabe and her husband love nothing more than to be outdoors with their two sons, Theodore and Jack and their sweet dog, Jazzy. Whether it is running, hiking, or picnicking at the park, they cherish the sunshine and fresh air. Dr. Schwabe values a healthy lifestyle and tries to make the most of every single day. She is passionate about what she does and feels so blessed to be part of such a professional dental team.

Dr. Karen Rudman DDS

Dr. Rudman received her dental degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1987.  She was on staff at University of Chicago for six years prior to establishing Naperville Dental Associates in 1995.  Dr. Rudman has a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Loyola University.  She is member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. Rudman resides in Naperville with her husband, Dr. Jeff Hembrough, and their three children, Paige, Michael, and Matthew. 

Congratulations on your retirement Dr. Petrauskas!

A 1983 licensed graduate of University of Maryland Dental School, Joe Petrauskas has been practiced at Naperville Dental Associates for the over 30 years.  He attended the University of Illinois and graduated with an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy. Dr. Petrauskas was on staff at the University of Chicago from 1989 through 1996.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, The Illinois State Dental Society, and The Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Petrauskas, his wife, and three children have live in Naperville. He enjoys computers, martial arts, and spending time with his family.
